Twana Wilson is a passionate mom of a child with 22q and Autism. She is a devoted wife and mother of three children. She wrote this children’s book about the life of her son, Kaymon and how their family learns together daily to empower him to overcome obstacles. Kaymon is kind-hearted, enjoys learning new things, and making people laugh. Parenting a child with special needs is by far not an easy challenge, but extremely rewarding. Twana wants to raise awareness of 22q, provide representation in children’s literature, and help other families understand that a diagnosis does not yield defeat. Mrs. Wilson hopes that The Chronicles of Blue: Me, You, & 22q, will inspire other families that they can do all things with faith, hope, and love.
Twana has over 19 years of experience in the fields of higher education, health and wellness, customer service, health care research, corrections, and professional leadership.
